Karen Baicker is the Executive Director of the Yale Child Study Center–Scholastic Collaborative for Child & Family Resilience, as well as Publisher for Family and Community Engagement (FACE) at Scholastic. She develops products and services that help families engage successfully in their children’s learning, and help educators harness the potential of family and community partners. Previously at Scholastic, Karen has served as the Director of Community Affairs and the Editorial Director of Professional Learning. In each of these roles, Karen's goal has been to explore new approaches to learning that look beyond the classroom to a child’s greater world.
