Elliott Rebhun served as editor-in-chief of Scholastic’s 23 classroom magazines, which are read by over 25 million students nationwide. In his 16 years at Scholastic, he oversaw some of America’s most widely used social studies and civics content, including Scholastic News, Junior Scholastic, and The New York Times Upfront magazines. Prior to Scholastic, he spent nine years at The New York Times newspaper and website (he was the first digital staffer at The Times), and seven years at Newsweek.
