During her eight years of teaching in secondary classrooms in large, urban school districts, Nicole Bosworth  fostered a love of reading in hundreds of adolescent learners. Prior to joining Scholastic, she was a middle and high school English/Language Arts, Reading, and Social Studies teacher, teacher leader and mentor. She worked in Carrolton Farmers Branch ISD (TX), Denver Pubic Schools, and JEFFCO Public Schools in Colorado, and is highly qualified in Elementary Education and Reading.

She is a graduate of Purdue University and earned her Masters in Education from the University of Colorado. She graduated with her doctorate in Educational Leadership and Innovation in 2015. Her areas of expertise include instructional leadership and teacher effectiveness; content and implementation; and student engagement and independence Nicole’s passion is literacy-the cornerstone of education, and she is dedicated to providing access to high quality, engaging materials to educators and communities across the country.
