On Tuesday, June 3rd at 8 p.m. EST, we're hosting a special "Mini-PD" session for educators focused on “Fostering a Growth Mindset in Every Student.” We hope you'll join us live!

The session will help educators (and others!) learn about the research on "academic mindsets" and give tangible advice for how it can be incorporated classroom instruction and everyday learning.


--David Dockterman is Chief Architect of Learning Sciences at Scholastic Education and an adjunct lecturer at the Harvard Graduate School of Education. He is an expert on education research and an educational software pioneer who has designed dozens of award-winning instructional technology programs and games.

--Eduardo Briceño is the CEO of Mindset Works, which he co-founded with Carol Dweck, Lisa Blackwell and others to help schools cultivate student ownership over their own learning. --Emily Diehl is an educator with 16 years experience as a teacher and instructional coach.  Currently she is a Curriculum and Professional Learning Specialist for Mindset Works and supports K-12 educators, school leaders, and parents across the country in helping to develop agency and life-long learning.  

--Trilby Hillenbrand is a middle school science teacher with 6 years of experience in DC Public Schools. This year she implemented the Mindset Works "Brainology" curriculum to teach students how they can take an active role in learning and determine their own success.
