Laura Devaney has a great article today about how effective principals reach all corners of education and how important it actually is to have strong leadership in schools. Research has shown, for example, that 69 percent of teachers who report having an effective principal also say they feel it is important to put their best effort forward while only 38 percent say the same. That's a pretty big deal. Read the article to learn more and check out the great infographic that goes with the data from the Queens University of Charlotte.
